The Clearing, by José Luis Torres, invites passersby to take a break in the ephemeral park and marvel at the gush of light emanating from the art installation. Luminous from dusk to dawn, The Clearing prompts viewers to lift their gaze to the sky. The brightly coloured work reaches out and draws people to the public space, sparking connections within the community. Produced in partnership with the Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke, Commerce Sherbrooke, the Foreman Art Gallery, Explore Lennox and the City of Sherbrooke, The Clearing will be on display at Square Queen in 2021!
